The Club
The Hyde Park Social Club has been located in the same amazing art-deco building in Peverell, Plymouth since 1927.
We are close to Mutley Plain, Plymouth train station and all main bus routes from the city centre making us the ideal venue for everyone.
We are a members only club and new membership applications for 2026 are now open. The cost of your first years membership is £40, with annual renewal at £15 thereafter. Please note, as per the clubs rules & regulations, if you did not renew your membership by January 31st the cost of renewal increased to £20. You can download a membership form here, please bring it into the club with the appropriate fee once completed. We are always open to non-members visiting the club, you can purchase a weekly pass for just £3 and use all of the clubs facilities.

The Six Nations Rugby at the HPSC
The Six Nations Rugby kicks off on Thursday 5th February and we will be showing all the games on our big screen TV's with bar promotions during all of the England games, so the HPSC really is the best seat in the house for the whole tournament! You can find a list of all the fixtures here to plan your viewing.
Quiz Night in aid of St. Lukes Men's Day Out
Another great HPSC quiz night is coming up on Friday 20th March at 8.00PM, with all proceeds going to St. Lukes Hospice.
Teams can be up to 8 players and it’s £2 entry fee for each player. Just let us know you’d like to enter a team and how many in it and we'll leave an envelope behind the bar for you to add your entry fee.
We are busy writing the questions but here’s a little secret.....IT’S ALL ABOUT MEN!!

Enjoy Great Food with Julies Snack Shack
Outside the clubs front door on Argyle home match Saturdays and some evenings before events (see our FaceBook page for exactly when) we are delighted to have Julies Snack Shack with us.
You can bring your Snack Shack food into the club to enjoy while catching up on the latest news & sports on our large screen TV's showing Sky Sports, Sky Sports+ and TNT channels (non-member entry on football days is £2 cash on the door). For those of you just walking by the club (why??) she's there for you guys too, so feel free to order some great food. ​
LIVE MUSIC
With regular live music from the best bands and soloists in the South West there's always something you'll like playing
at HPSC.
EVENT HIRE
With 2 large halls for hire, both with full bar and catering facilities and the latest AV equipment, HPSC is the only place to hold your next event.
